About Us

Mr Simon Cato has had over 30 years capital markets experience in broking, regulatory roles and as director of listed companies. He initially was employed by the ASX in Sydney and then in Perth. From 1991 until 2006, he was an executive director and/or responsible executive of three stockbroking firms and in those roles he has been involved in many aspects of broking including management issues such as credit control and reporting to regulatory bodies in the securities industry. As a broker, he was also involved in the underwriting of a number of IPO's and has been through the process of IPO listing in the dual role of broker and director. Currently, he holds a number of executive and nonexecutive roles with listed companies in Australia.

Mr Cato is a director of Greenland Minerals and Energy Ltd, Bentley Capital Ltd and Keybridge Capital Ltd.

Mr Kim Chong has been actively involved in the share registry business for over 33 years. From 1981 until 1996 he was employed with major firms in registry operations as a systems analyst, client manager and share registry division manager.

Kim commenced operations as Advanced Share Registry Services in 1996 with six clients and with his experience in information technology and management skills, has guided the business to the success it is today.

Kim is extremely well qualified and experienced to lead the Company into its next phase of growth.

Mr Alan Winduss is a director of Winduss & Associates Pty Ltd. He has been involved in professional accounting in public practice for over 30 years, specialising in matters relating to corporate management, restructuring, corporate finance and company secretarial matter including ASX and ASIC compliance. He sits on the Board of public limited companies including United Overseas Australia Ltd, UOA REIT BHD.

Mr Winduss is a member of various professional bodies including The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia and the Certified Public Accountants Australia. In addition, he is an Associate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management, a Fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and is a registered Australian Company Auditor.

Mr Stuart Third has been involved in professional accounting in public practice for over 25 years providing business and taxation advice to clients in various industries. Mr Third has experience in corporate governance, company secretarial, management and restructuring matters. He currently is on the Board of, and company secretary of, ASX listed United Overseas Australia Ltd and has previously served as company secretary of other ASX listed companies. He also works within the accounting profession as a facilitator for the Chartered Accountants Program.

Mr Third holds a Bachelor of Business, Master of Taxation and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance. He is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Australian and New Zealand, a Chartered Tax Advisor with the Tax Institute, an Associate of the Governance Institute of Australia and an Associate of The Chartered Governance Institute.

Mr Pixley is a highly experienced Merchant Banker with over 30 years experience in Asia. Beginning in Singapore and later moving to Australia. Michael has developed deep contacts with Asian businesses, individuals and Governments throughout his career. As CEO and Director in both public and private businesses he has gained extensive experience in deal origination, structuring and execution across various industry sectors including manufacturing, real estate, biotech and energy.

Mr Pixley has a proven track record of building successful businesses and has lead numerous transactions including M&As, IPOs, and debt/ equity financings. He has a strong reputation for developing and maintaining key relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners.

Mr Alvin Tan studied at the University of Western Australia, gaining a Bachelor of Commerce with honours, and then was employed by KPMG in Kuala Lumpur from 1993-1995 as a financial consultant.

Returning to Australia he worked with the stockbroking firm of D J Carmichael before pursuing other business interests.

Alvin currently is a director of BKM Management Ltd and Coral Sea petroleum LTD and has interests in companies in exploration, property development, plantation and investment holdings.

Maryllis has a qualification in Master of Business Administration. She has over 20 years’ experience in the share registry business. She has been involved with all facets of the Share registry operation ranging from back office processing, corporate actions, investor relationship and client relationship management. Maryllis has an outstanding service history with Advanced Share Registry Services for over eighteen years.

Nainesh joined Advanced Share Registry in January 2006. During Nainesh’s ten years with Advanced Share Registry he has undertaken the Account Manager role by dealing with major Corporate Actions such as takeovers, mergers, Return of Capital, Scheme of Arrangement etc. Nainesh migrated from Kenya and owned a News Agency Business in Perth. Nainesh was employed with a Company in Kenya dealing in precious gemstones. Nainesh obtained an education in commerce and also training in an assortment of diamond and gemstone industries in India.

Carol joined Advanced Share Registry in 2006. During her 12 years with Advanced she excelled in several parts of the business from operations to account management. Prior to working in Share Registry, Carol has 28 years’ experience working in various banks in Singapore. Her last appointment was Head of Treasury in a Japanese Investment Bank. Carol has obtained a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from London School of Economics.

Patrick joined Advanced Share Registry in 2007. He has bachelor degree of Information Technology & Information Systems and holds a Master degree of Logistics and IT Management. Patrick has developed applications and web portals with new technology concepts to improve the performance and efficiency of the business, and also enhanced the user experience.

Caroline joined Advanced Share Registry in 2021, bringing with her a wealth of customer relations experience gained from working in various roles across multiple industries. She takes great pride in maintaining high standards and delivering exceptional quality of service to all stakeholders at Advanced Share Registry.

Saju joined Advanced Share Registry in 2021. Prior to working in Share Registry, Saju has 18 years’ experience working in various fields of financial organizations especially in Retail Operations, Business development, Risk & Compliance and Information Technology both in United Arab Emirates (UAE) & Australia. His last appointment was Regional Manager, Retail Operations for Unimoni Australia Pty Ltd, handling 45 retail branches operations across Australia. Saju has Bachelors’ Degree in Commerce, Diploma in project management and also he holds a Master’s degree in Computer Application. He has managed a vast number of corporate actions such as IPOs, Fund Raisings, Dividend Payments, Takeovers, Meeting management etc in less span of time.

Terry joined Advanced Share Registry in 2022.Terry is a creative problem solving professional who has had over 5 years experience working within an Online Broking Platform, Share Registries and a Small Business. Predominantly has experience in shareholder enquiries and a variety of corporate actions which include managing physical and virtual meetings, capital raisings, reconstructions, and many more.

Kan joined Advanced 2012. Kan works with Account Managers and Marketing team in corporate actions, data collation and processing, logistics and mailing. He has a Master degree of Mathematics and Statistics.

Addie joined Advanced Share Registry in 2010, he works with Account Managers in the project management of corporate actions, logistics, and mailing. He has completed a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics and Finance) and Master of Accounting.

Frances joined Advanced Share Registry (ASW) in February 2013 as a Marketing Manager. Frances has a BA degree in Marketing and the Media and is RG146 and Accredited Derivatives Advisor compliant. Frances has nearly 20 years of experience in the finance industry. She has previously worked as the Trading Floor Manager with Ausiex/Commsec for 7 years, managing a team of over 30 staff. Prior to that, Frances enjoyed several roles in the Broking Industry including Complaints Manager, Team Leader, and Customer Service.

Richard joined Advanced Share Registry as an Account Manager in October 2022. He has extensive experience in a vast number of corporate actions such as IPOs, Fund Raisings, Dividend Payments, Takeovers, Meeting management etc over the past years working in the share registry sector. Prior to working at the Share Registry, Richard has 4 years experience working in one of the four major banks in Australia servicing brokers across various states . He has completed his Bachelor of commerce (Economics and Finance) in Sydney.

Lily joined Advanced Share Registry as an Account Manager in June 2010. She has managed a vast number of corporate actions such as IPOs, Fund Raisings, Dividend Payments, Takeovers, Meeting management etc over the past years. She completed her Bachelor of Business Management in Singapore, and obtained a Master of Accounting from University of Technology of Sydney.

Julianne has over 23 years business administration experience in accounts, human resources, sales/marketing and I.C.T. Her employment in these roles has been deployed across the real estate, primary production, telecommunications and primary health sectors. As a business administrator, Julianne was been involved in dealing with a variety of clients including some high-profile businesses both in China and Australia.
